NBC brings the serial cannibal to TV. Makes of the sequels to the incredibly brilliant "Silence of the Lambs" made the common mistake of believing blood and gore were important to the success of the original. Those elements were important in telling the story but weren't the story. The sequels tried to make them the story and were simply gory disappointments. The producers of this TV series, which debuts next month, seem to have made that mistake, on steroids. Unless they packed all the gore into a two minute promo, this thing is nasty.
