I hate to say it, but I agree. Unless the NFL gets a commissioner who is more interested in preserving the NFL as it exists today than does Roger Goodell. What Goodell is trying to do reminds me of an exchange I had with a sales rep at a radio station I worked at years ago. He was attempting to explain to someone else what milorganite is(it's a fertilizer produced by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. MMSD captures wasterwater from the metro area). The sales rep described it this way: "it's sh*t with the impurities taken out." If you take the impurities out of that substance there isn't much left.

Goodell is going to find out, hopefully sooner rather than later, than if you take the violence out of football, there isn't much left.
