And she's from Wisconsin. And she's kicked a 40 yard field goal, once, but has never played football. She's 28 years old and in the professional world but decided to take advantage of a new NFL guideline that allows for female players. I've always said that if a woman could kick a 65 yard field goal, or throw like Aaron Rodgers for that matter, I'd take her in a minute.

But this has pure gimmick written all over it. As more and more girls got into soccer in the 1980's, I predicted an NFL female kicker by 2000. I still think it will happen at some point, but probably not anytime soon.
