None of this is new; we've discussed it all on the show many times, especially during the Act 10 debate in Wisconsin. In fact, these are the very evils Governor Scott Walker attacked with Act 10. And it's why the teacher's unions fought it so viciously in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, little reform outside of Wisconsin has happened since Act 10. Governor Walker won the battle here, winning a recall against him. But that hasn't inspired elected officials elsewhere to engage the way he did here.
