The only reason President Obama didn't literally pee on Tom Barrett during the recall is he didn't want to get that close to Wisconsin. Yet, Barrett dutifully fired up the crowd for Obama at a campaign event today. The snub was obvious; Obama jumped from the Twin Cities to Chicago in the final days of the recall campaign but ignored Wisconsin. The best he could do was "Tweet" his support.

I suppose it comes with the territory, but it must have been tough. Clearly Obama stayed away during the recall because he knew Barrett was a sure loser and didn't want to be associated with him. A good foot soldier indeed.
