Carney's head nearly exploded trying to stick to one story here. By the way, the liberal talking point today in response to reports that the Obama administration missed warnings about embassies being targeted goes roughly like this:

" Yeah, but the Bush administration was warned about 9/11 and whiffed on that."

In fact, the Bush administration was NOT given warning of a specific target. Embassies, even multiple ones, represent specific, protectable targets. Why weren't embassies, partiularly in hot bed Islamist regions fortified, if in fact the British Newspaper the Independent, has this story right?
