MSNBC Argues for Ending the First Amendment

Okay, they're not sharp enough to realize that's what they're doing, But that is, in fact, exactly what they are doing. What the mental arthritics at MNSBC seem to be arguing is the "yelling fire in a crowded movie house" limitation of free speech. But that argument is entirely fallacious. Yes, creating a public panic by making people think they're about to burn to death can be outlawed.

Producing a repugnant message that may or may not incide others thousands of miles away cannot. Even if the video is the cause of what's happening in the Muslim world now, it's producers cannot be held responsible. Those causing the violence made a conscious decision to do so; they were panicked into action because their lives were in imminent danger.

If Catholics storm the studio where Bill Maher's show is produced because of vicious things he's said about Catholicism, who should be held responsible? The Catholics or Bill Maher. If the libs were going to be consistent here, their answer would be Bill Maher. But trust me, that's not what there answer would be.
