Of course, the double standard Kristol reveals here is not new. And yes, this is a big deal. When called out for something she said, Schultz denied saying it, apparently unaware her words had been recorded. But that recording shows clearly that she did said what was reported and then lied about saying it.

If the media really played fairly, Democrats from President Obama on down would be asked about her statements, as Republicans were with Todd Akin. But the media doesn't play fair, so the bell goes unrung. It's said Mr. Obama has little use for DWS. We may find out soon if that's true. When not telling lies, she's looked simply idiotic when her robotic talking points failed her. If Obama really isn't happy with her, you'd thing her time is short.
