Earlier it sound possible, the Labor Department now seems to be saying that is less likely, but still possible. Interestingly, both left and right would probably cry conspiracy over this. Whatever is in that report is seen as critical, coming the Friday before the Tuesday, Nov. 6 election. Truthfully, I'm not so sure, unless...

It's a shockingly dramatic move either up or down. And the conspiracy theorists would go crazy either way. My belief is voters have their impression of the economy set and a percentage of a point difference won't matter. But if it magically goes from 7.8% to say, under 7, that would be a game changer. It would also set off a four day period before the elections where conservatives would be crying, no, howling, screaming foul. Could that possibly happen????
