Azana Salon Banned Concealed Carry

This is sparking debate over whether the state should change the provision of the concealed carry law that allows businesses to ban concealed carry. No, I would not support such a change. Property owners rights are every bit as sacred to me as 2nd Amendment rights. If a property owner doesn't want you to carry a gun into their property, I believe that is their right. But...

And I don't want to diminish the tragedy of what happened Sunday, but this shows how pointless it is for a business to ban concealed carry. The only person you will keep from carrying a gun into your business is someone who intends to break the law. They're not going to heed the sign. Again I respect their right to the decision, but it is a pointless, false sense of security move.

Were the people in the salon any safer because of those signs? NO, absolutely not.
