Obaman and Romney and Thompson and Baldwin now tied. The Baldwin/Thompson race is one of the more fascinating I've seen in some time. Tommy opens with a 9 point lead. Baldwin answers with a nine point lead, an eighteen point swing! The next poll shows Baldwin's lead whittled down to a four point lead and now it's tied(a negligible Thompson lead). I don't know that I've ever seen a race quite like it.

Romney closing the gap is indicative of what's happening nationally. Romney had the momentum going into last night's debate. It was a good showing by President Obama, but unlikely to turn the tide.
