Perhaps, the more accurate question is: do both sides in the race think it's over? The RCCC cancelled ad buys in the 8th and three other districts around the country last week, suggesting Republicans feel incumbent Reid Ribble is safe(it's virtually impossible they're pulling the money because they feel Reid is in trouble).
I learned today that the DCCC has cancelled buys in the Green Bay TV market from here to election day that had been intended to support Wall's candidacy. I'm also told that some of that money has been shifted to the DSCC, which would benefit Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin in her Senate race against Republican Tommy Thompson. The shift would seem to indicate that Dems have pulled the plug on Wall, but still believe Baldwin is worth the investment.
