Given the behavior of the Milwaukee County D.A's office, I wouldn't be confident of anything where I Scott Walker. The email release at Rindfliesch's sentencing was an effort to raise doubts in the public's mind, knowing they would be confused by the nature of the emails. And the media has gone along for the ride. There was nothing improper about those emails and the Journal-Sentinel and every other media outlet who has reported on them knows it.
Assistant D.A. Bruce Landgraff is clearly frustrated he can't find anything on Walker. So he took what he had, which is nothing, and put it out there. And of course, he knew libs would take it and run with it. The behavior of the Milwaukee Co. D.A.'s office in this John Doe should itself be investigated. But it won't. By the way, Walker today also tried to dampen talk of him as a potential presidential contender in 2016.
