This story is utterly bizarre. The left, and yes I include the NYT in the left, perpetually want to label conservatives racist and yet NOBODY obsesses over race and ethnicity like the left. I suppose it's interesting on some level that there is no Jewish mayoral candidate in NYC. But the Times is so fascinate by this that they go searching for explanations.

It's also interesting how they point out that the most likely Jew to have been on the ballot is the disgraced Anthony Weiner. And consider this; the Times consider this a monumental happening. Did anybody besides them really notice?
