Thanksgiving: "Celebrating Our Original Sin"

Posted by Jerry Bader on

Shortly after the Nov. 6 election, I began speaking on the show about how conservatives need to, in the long haul, attack the stronghold liberals have on the education establishment. Here's a classic example. Don't think for a moment this guy is an oddity. And do parents even understand who is teaching at colleges these days?

And this guy is a living example of how pervasive the far left is in both academia and the media. This guy worked for two major MSM newspapers. The United States has some serious black marks in its history. But they pale in comparison to the greatness of this country. Yes slavery isn't something you just forget. Neither is the treatment of native Americans. Nor even Jim Crow. But America went to war to end slavery. America saved the world from facism in World War II. America has been a champion of freedom around the globe, more than any other country in history. America is more generous to other nations in time of need than any other country.

American ingenuity and exceptionalism has given the wolrd more technological advances, including life saving medical advances, than any other country. Yet radicals such as this professor feel we should be defined by our failings rather than our nearly countless virtues. This is the culture of liberalism that dominates education and much of the media that conservatives must dismantle.
