I have been screaming this from the hilltops(okay from behind a microphone) for months now. The latest recession is unique in post-war recessions in how tepid the recovery has been. The rule has been; the deeper the recession, the steeper the recovery. Liberals have looked desperately to rewrite history and pretend this isn't true, but it is.

That history kills their "yeah but this one was SO bad it couldn't get fixed in four years" nonsense. The V-shaped recovery is a real phenomenon. And it's really not here this time.
