It appears that the mentally challenged girl can't or won't complain on her own behalf, but the bullies doing this to her can, so they did, and they were the ones who were heard. Recent reports of educators either being directly involved in bullying students or turning a blind eye to it are disturbing. They are also a reminder that we need to be watchful of the envrionment to which we entrust our kids eight hours a day.
