It's a debate on MSNBC as to whether or not all who fall in combat are heroes. And the debate is twofold: what if the cause for which they died is "not a worthy one" and is being shot in combat the same as dying during some act of valor.
I suppose you could attempt to turn this inton a legitimate academic debate. But when we have an all volunteer military, as we do today, anybody who puts on the uniform knows the possible risk when they take the oath. If they die in that uniform that makes them a hero in my book. Period.
