Appleton Post Crescent Will Not Endorse in Governor's Race

The editorial board numbers itself among the 3% undecided. This was probably Barrett's best chance of getting an endorsement from a major Wisconsin daily, so in reality it's point Walker. After a very conflicted body, this editorial ends with this:

Both candidates got support on our board, but neither got enough support to reach a consensus.

So if you’re among the 3 percent undecided, or you’re already decided, we urge you to think it over. What issues are most important to you? How does each candidate stand on them? From your perspective, what might the next 2½ years look like if Walker wins? If Barrett wins?

And after the election, how does the winner start to pull Wisconsin back together after we’ve grown so far apart?

Governor Walker in Friday's debate said the state heals by moving forward. To be more precise, the state will heal when Governor Walker's policies have been given enough time to work. It is what the left fears most.
