Mining 2.0

This issue is the first test of what Scott Walker really has in mind when it comes to striking a more concilitary chord. Unless Republicans strike electoral gold in November, there is going to have to be at least some bipartisanship to get this done. But the reality is what Schultz and Jauch wanted was still a deal breaker for Gogebic Taconite.

The sense I got from talking about this with Walker recently is he was optimistic something could be done. Any bill that doesn't give clarity to how long it will take to get this mine approved is a waste of time. Scott Walker has proven he doesn't embark on fool's errands. stay tuned.
