Now that the statue has been taken down, many news reports are pointing out that even Legendary coach Bobby Bowden, 50 year friend of Joe Paterno, felt the statue should come down. But those reports aren't explaining Bowden's rationale. His reasoning had nothing to do with concern about Jerry Sandusky's victims.
