Why Illinois Pines for Its Own Scott Walker

Posted by Jerry Bader on

The reality is Walker's experience really hasn't inspired the political courage to deal with this in other states, at least not yet. Chicago teachers know the dire financial situation Illinois faces, but it's irrelevant to them.

It'll be interesting to see if the pressure from conservative columnists and others lead to a Walker-type revolution in Illinois. It'll also be interesting to see if more Illinois businesses starting noticing the contrast between the two states. It's also important to remember 46% of Wisconsin wants to do things the Illinois way. The fight never ends.
