The Weekly Standard has an excellent follow-up to the sole wittness at a Nancy Pelosi hearing Monday who said contraception throughout law school at Georgetown totals about $3,000. While humorous and enlightening, the fact that you can get the pill for about $110 dollars a year at a nearby store is really beside the point.
Suppose somebody can't afford even that relatively meager amount; why is it society's responsibility to make sure she can afford all the unprotected sex she or any other co-ed wants? Answer: it isn't.
