Really, this again?

I know this may sound overly optimistic, but remember when I had a hard time taking the Wisconsin recall seriously because Democrats seemed to utterly incompetent. In the end I was right about that. It might be too early to make that cal in the presidential contest, but seriously, he goes back to the Seamus story again?

It may not last, but ever since Ryan was announced as the VP pick, the left, at least to me, look much like the flailing left in Wisconsin during the recall(after Tom Barrett won the primary). They were hoping it would be Ryan, so you wouldn't think it's a matter of getting caught off guard. I would say it was more an underestimation of who Paul Ryan is and what he would mean to the ticket. There is, of course, plenty of time to recover. But since Saturday morning they look like a replay of the amateur hour that defined Wisconsin Democrats earlier this year.
