Just seeing this in print made me chuckle. This legislation was nothing more than a gift to trial lawyers, creating another layer of litigation that had them salivating. It was sure to increase the number of bogus claims. The protection already exists. It reminds me of a situation comedy moment (think Joey from Friends, just as one example) where the moron character is sure they have a gotcha moment, and they've got nothing.
