A very good piece by the Speaker of the House. Boehner makes brief reference here to the President joking about "shovel ready jobs" not being so "shovel ready" and the Obama comment about ATM's and airport kiosks stealing jobs. Can you imagine if President George W. Bush had joked about the stimulus being a failure, or blamed ATM machines for nearly 10% unemployment rate?

The mainstream media would ridiculue him nonstop. And quite frankly democrats would pin back the ears and go after him. Something Republicans really don't do. I'm not talking about conservative talk radio; I'm talking about Members of Congress. Yeah, Boehner does here, but as something of an after thought. I would hope these quotes are kept in mind when it's time for campaign commercials. These comments are practically obscene. You sometimes wonder how Republicans even compete with the unlevel playing field of perception created by the MSM.

No matter HOW stupid something Barack Obama says is, the MSM will NEVER let it be depicted as stupid. No matter HOW innocent something ANY conservative says, the MSM determines  it's stupid. Where would Obama's approval ratings be now if the media treated him the way it treated Bush?
