This is a very difficult office for which to run, in my opinion. I've interviewed the candidates and they try to articulate an agenda, but the reality is this isn't an office from where much is accomplished. They all also want to repeatedly come on the show, knowing how important exposure is in this race. Unlike the top of the ticket, where the convention easily endorsed Scott Walker, delegates apparently are as unclear on these candidates as much of the public. I too have no opinion in this race.

Meanwhile, Mark Nuemann will now run as the outsider, after Walker took more than 90% of the GOP convention endorsement vote for governor. It's a strategy that would be more effective if he hadn't been a House Member for several terms and ran against Senator Russ Feingold in 1998. It would also be MUCH more effective if he had adopted it months ago, instead of expressing bitterness over not getting the endorsement himself. It'll be interesting to see how he executes this strategy and whether it works.
