Mark Neumann's "Stance" on Immigration

Posted by Jerry Bader on

This was shared by a listener. Last week the AP asked both Neumann and his rival for the GOP nomination for governor, Scott Walker, for their positions on the Arizona immigration law. Walker first said he had serious concerns about it before flipping his position after getting battered on his Facebook page (and on mine). Neumann wouldn't comment on the law for the AP but now has this on his website. What a punt.

Okay, so the 10th Amendment gives Arizona the right to act. Granted not everybody agrees with that, but could you go a step further and say whether you agree with that action? He essentially gives no real position and then criticizes Walker for flip-flopping on this. Mark, if you're keeping score, Scott leads you on this issue, two positions to zero. Both candidates have been deeply disappointing on this issue. They squandered and opportunity to show conservative voters that they're not wobbley on this issue. As my teenage daughters like to say: epic fail....
