Ed Morrisey over at Hot Air makes a brilliant observation. He points to the self-flagellation the Mainstream Media has engaged in since 2003, claiming it failed to ask the "tough questions" of the Bush administration in the ramp-up to the Iraq invasion seven years ago. He then compares this to the American MSM's failure to even report on the cracks in the global warming argument, let alone explore them.

Morrisey does a great job of bullet-pointing the fissures in the man-caused global warming facade, and how the MSM, with rare exceptions, has ignored each and every one. Even with the New Media's attention to these stories, the global warming crowd's credibility has taken a major hit in this country. Imagine what belief levels in AGW would be if the MSM had done its job? Sadly, as if often the case with the MSM, we can only imagine the way things would be in the country if the MSM did its job.
