This is a curious development. Wall has nothing to gain by this; he's out.  And as for the nature of the allegation:

"The guy who called me after the convention and said his hotel room was paid for by Johnson's people if he stayed overnight and voted for Johnson," Wall told a reporter for WTDY.

It seems unlikely Johnson's camp would be this stupid. My gut reaction is Wall is bitter about the way Johnson swept in and blew Wall and Dick Leinenkugel out of the race. It'll be interesting to see if Wall can produce any fire to go with this smoke.
