Change.org Tries to Shame Elton John Into Giving Away Rush's $1 Million

Posted by Jerry Bader on

The website calls it "hate money," and is urging people to sign onto a petition asking John to give the money to a "marriage equality" or gay rights group. The petition reads:

Rush Limbaugh’s money is a stain on your hands. Limbaugh opposes marriage equality and has ridiculed gays on his national radio show. By playing at his wedding, you mocked the cause of gay rights and lost my respect as a fan.

I urge you to donate 100 percent of you reported $1 million fee to the cause of gay rights. Money is worth so much less than equality.

Perhaps change.org missed Rush's first show back from his honeymoon where he talked about how famously his new bride and Elton John and his partner got along and how the Limbaughs were invited to visit. As for "gay hating" conservatives, libs also haven't seemed to notice that NO conservatives are criticizing Rush for having Elton John sing at his wedding, while libs are ripping John for performing there. The ever delicious liberal rank hypocrisy.
