2010 opens with brutal cold around the globe. It's a pretty safe bet 2009 saw a continued decline in global temperatures. Yet, despite this and the climategate email, the global warming frauds will continue to push their case in 2010 and beyond. The "Emperor's New Clothes" is one of the most overused cliches', but it is so appropriate in this case I cannot resist.

All empirical evidence suggests a warming trend in the 80's and 90's has receded, replaced by a cooling trend. This would strongly suggest the warming trend was part of the normal weather cycle on Earth. Yet, we're told the planet is still warming, and man is to blame. And an frighteningly large majority still believe this, despite the naked man standing before them. It is truly frightening.
