He claims he didn't manipulate climate data, but also concedes the Medieval Period likely saw temperatures as warm as the last decade or so of the twentieth century. Okay, the infamous "hockey stick" graph massaged out the Medieval temperature spike so create a more or less straight line in temps from the year 1,000 to 1900. He's admitting that there is a camel's hump in the middle of the hockey stick during the Medieval Period, but the numbers weren't manipulated??? Huh??? By the way, this is a HUGE story; making the Medieval warm spell go away is critical to the notion that only CO2 emissions and not natural trends in temps could be responsible for global warming in the latter half of the 20th century. This isn't a smoking gun, this is an admission of guilt! Will the MSM EVER notice the global warming fraud story???
