The concept of liberalism in general as religion is nothing new; Rush Limbaugh often refers to abortion as being the sacrament of liberalism.  But this piece does a great job showing the ritualistic nature of envriomentalism, and the branding of "heretics" shows that "Green" is a religioin, not a political movement, and as such it is a belief system rooted in faith, not science.
