Wisconsin DA Says Teachers Could Be Charged For Teaching Sex Ed

Posted by Jerry Bader on

Specifically, he's say, according to this story, that a new state requirement that schools that teach sex ed need to teach sex education could lead to teachers being charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He argues:

"Forcing our schools to instruct children on how to utilize contraceptives encourages our children to engage in sexual behavior, whether as a victim or an offender," he wrote. "It is akin to teaching children about alcohol use, then instructing them on how to make mixed alcoholic drinks."

Thing is, in Wisconsin, parents actually CAN engage in his drinking scenario, while teachers cannot. It'll be interesting to see where this goes from here.
