ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ) -The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to a house fire just before 8:00 Sunday morning.
Fire crews responded to a report of a fire at 301 E. Allouez Ave and found smoke coming from the front of a two story duplex.
All residents were able to evacuate the duplex before the fire department arrived.
Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire.
The fire was contained to the front living area of the duplex.
There was smoke damage to the rest of the duplex.
Four adults and three children were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Green Bay Metro Fire Marshal’s Office.
Damage to the duplex is approximately $50,000.
